The first semi-final of the UEFA EURO 2024 is set to take place on at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with defending champions Italy going up against Spain. Both teams are coming into the match on the back of impressive victories, with Italy defeating Belgium 2-1 in the quarter-finals while Spain edged out Portugal 1-0.

Italy will be without the services of suspended midfielder Nicolo Barella, while Spain will miss the injured Dani Carvajal. Both teams have a number of other players who are carrying knocks, but they are expected to be fit enough to play.
Italy are likely to field a similar side to the one that started against Belgium, with Ciro Immobile leading the line and Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Chiesa providing support from the wings. Spain are also expected to name an unchanged side, with Alvaro Morata starting up front and Pedri and Gavi orchestrating the attack from midfield.
