Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz has stunned the tennis world by defeating Jannik Sinner of Italy in a thrilling US Open match that ended at a record-breaking time.
The 19-year-old Alcaraz, who is the youngest player to reach a Grand Slam semi-final since Novak Djokovic in 2007, fought back from a set down to win 6-3, 6-7(7), 6-7(0), 7-5, 6-3 in a grueling five-hour battle.
